COMMUNICATION FOR BEHAVIORAL IMPACT (COMBI)In collaboration with selected United Nations agencies, national governments, international and local Civil Society Organisation (CSOs), and the City University of New York (CUNY), the COMBI Institute is dedicated to building the capacity of governments and other local institutions (primarily but not exclusively) of low-income countries, especially staff in Ministries of Health, associated Ministries and partner agencies, to use the WHO strategic communication planning methodology called Communication for Behavioral Impact (COMBI) to achieve concrete behavioral results in health and social development. The 10-step COMBI planning method goes beyond increasing awareness and informing/educating people. It focuses sharply on communication for achieving specific behavioral results.
